St. Albans II, Pt. 1
Kitchen Renovation
The kitchen and bathroom in this late 80's built condo were in need of a face lift to make them more functional, open and aesthetically pleasing for the new homeowner's. To begin the kitchen renovation we removed and donated the old appliances, cabinets and countertops. The new kitchen layout required updated framing of an existing nook to accommodate new appliances as well as new framing for two existing window openings in preparation for swapping those windows between the dining room and kitchen. Drywall was installed and patched as needed and new primer & paint was applied. Lighting updates include installation of nine direct mount LED ceiling lights and two hanging island lights, all controlled on a dimmer switch.LED tape strip lighting was selected for under the cabinets. Required updates and installations were made to the plumbing and HVAC systems, all under the supervision of E.L.K. Construction. Cabinets, countertops and tile were installed by others.
