ST. ALBANS III

This project finds us back at St. Albans.  We met this client while working on the St. Albans I projects; during morning walks with her little dog, Sadie May, this future client would stop to chat with the E.L.K. crew (and get pets for Sadie May of course).  Knowing how pleased her neighbor was with our work she asked us to take a look at a project she had been contemplating for a while, vaulting the living room ceiling.  The room just felt so small and claustrophobic.  To alleviate her concerns that the existing skylights would not interfere or cause additional costs to the project we thoroughly assessed the conditions and relieved her concerns .  In addition to vaulting the ceiling, E.L.K. supervised electrical updates, drywall repairs and fresh coats of primer and paint for the walls and new ceiling.  With the vault added, the ceiling fan gone and fresh new paint this living room now gives off a much grander feel!
