Composite Deck & Rails

Looking to create an outdoor extension of her indoor living space this lovely lady was referred to E.L.K. Construction by her friend & neighbor who was familiar with our work. E.L.K. worked with her on design ideas, HOA approval and securing permits for a 160 square foot deck. The deck consists of 5/4” TimberTech Azek, Vintage Collection composite decking boards in Mahogany color.  TimberTech Classic Composite Railing with Drink Rail in white and black balusters was selected for her guard rail system and an ADA compliant grab rail and riser lighting were installed on the stairs. Painted, pressure treated lattice was installed to under the deck to create a more refined look. To seemingly merge the indoor living area and new outdoor space an existing back door was removed, the opening widened, and a new set of French sliding glass patio doors were installed. In addition, E.L.K. insulated and enclosed her crawlspace.
