In previous employment Eric, Owner of ELK Construction, LLC, managed the construction of the new headquarters for Soar365 (formerly the Greater Richmond ARC) and the all inclusive Park365.  ELK Construction was invited to return to the property to construct an area for a new piece of playground equipment – the Integration Carousel.

 

The project consisted of removal of an existing concrete slab to make way for the foundation and drainage system beneath the new carousel.  Once set in place, the carousel was surrounded by a bonded rubber mulch safety surface to meet national playground regulations.

 

During construction you could feel the excitement building as park-goers passed the construction area curious about the new equipment.  Upon unveiling the Integration Carousel, it was an instant draw for all who took their “turn” on the new carousel.
